Good oven, but a little pricey
I eat a fair amount of pizzas, mostly frozen. On the plus side, it’s easy to see your pizza cooking, the oven doesn’t get too hot on the outside and it has a good variety of temperatures from 350 to 730°. My opinion on homemade pizzas is not complete. I’m leaning to the plus side. 0n the negative side, it takes longer to cook my frozen pizzas than my air-bake oven, the pizza stone seems to be difficult to clean off and the timer doesn’t shut the oven off.

A little noisy
This is a very nice indoor pizza oven in this price range. It gets up to temperature quickly and cooks a 12 inch pizza in about 5 minutes. I find I do need to rotate the pizza in order to get an evenly cooked pizza. This oven cooks cooler on the window/door side than in the back and the pizza might burn on the back side if you don’t rotate. The unit is rather noisy which is somewhat expected due to the fans. Cleaning is a little bit of a challenge but not too bad. Overall this is a very nice oven and I would recommend it.

I’ve made some pizzas in a regular oven on a pizza steel before, and I’ve never been great at it. I decided to attempt making a Detroit-style pizza in my new pizza oven, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with how it turned out! It came out fluffy and soft with the crispy edges, just as you want from that style of pizza. The pizza oven comes with excellent instructions on how to use it, how to clean it, how to make sauce and dough, as well as many recipes for various kinds of pizzas, the classic Detroit-style included. It comes with everything you need, including the pizza stone, pizza peel, and deep dish container pictured in my photos. It is relatively annoying to clean (due to the heating elements) if you make a mess, but thankfully heating an oven to 700 degrees burns things enough that most stuff wouldn’t stick too much even if you did drop some cheese. I was a little confused that it took the little oven so long to heat up to 550°F, especially with how loud the fans are to circulate the air inside. I was also surprised that it took as long as it did after I turned it off for the fans to stop running to cool it down. Neither of those things are deal breakers for me, though, and overall I still very much enjoy the pizza oven. It is a bit pricey ($400 at time of writing this), but if you’re someone who makes homemade pizzas often and prefer to do your cooking inside, this is a fine investment.

Price during review – $ 399.95.I have made pizza before but only in my regular oven and never with a stone-based oven. The stone concept was new to me, and essentially works by heating the stone to a temperature where the base cooks uniformly, quickly and completely. Case in point, a Neapolitan style base takes 5 minutes, while a deep dish style takes 15. That’s great timing compared to the regular oven.It took me a few tries to get the cooked pizza off the pan after cooking, since it really sticks to the bottom. They recommended greasing/flouring the pan – but then, the base creates issues staying in shape once the greasing is done – that’s something I’m still working to perfect. I have no experience of other similar stone-based ovens to compare this to, but it did seem like it takes a longer while to heat up, considering it’s not too big. Once it gets going, it takes a long while to cool down, even between pizzas – and there are different temps for various base types – so sometimes it’s a wait time (especially since I did the high temp ones first and had to wait for it to cool down.)In pics, is my 6 inch round pan, and 8 inch wide pan. The uncooked pizza pan is the one they provide with the set. The oven itself sits full and flush on a 24″ deep, 22″ wide counter. This should give you an idea of the size.The only deal-breaker con is – This is a large piece and since it’s indoor, it takes up sizeable counter space… prime real estate no matter how big your kitchen is. In that sense, it’s a store and use when necessary piece – but you also need the space to store it. If you have a small kitchen and no storage space then this might be a big issue – as it is for me. As such, it lives in my basement and I lug it up to the kitchen, since it heats up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit and I don’t trust to set it on any other surface.FAQs (all my own Qs though)Is it lots of work?Not really, if you have the dough (and the $400 dough too,lol) and sauce.Does it change the way you do Pizza night? Yes, you bet – customizations galore!How many is the biggest pizza it makes? Roughly 8 square slices big.What is my final say?Recommended.

The output is good…the rest is a mixed bag for me
The most important part of a pizza oven is obviously the pizza. I made some Neapolitan style pizza’s to start as I wanted to test the stone and the high temp. I set it to 700 degrees, warmed it up with the stone inside, and about 5 minutes later I had a Neapolitan style pizza with a nice crispy crust and good spotting on the bottom. The top was ever so slightly charred and bubbling…all good!So, the stone seems to work well in terms of retaining heat and the accessories serve their purpose well. No issues.Things I don’t love.(1) For such a small oven, it takes quite a long time to heat up.(2) It has a fan that’s loud and starts immediately when turning the oven on and stays on a long time after the oven is off to dissipate heat.(3) The peel is just flat stainless without any bumps or perforations to help get the loaded raw pizza off smoothly. You need to load it up with semolina to get the crust to slide off, otherwise it just sticks.(4) It’s not easy to clean. The top and bottom have elements and you have to clean around them, they don’t come out. I vacuumed out the crumbs with a long wand and that helped. If you get any cheese down there, it’s a pain.If you are committed to making pizzas or calzones a lot and benefit from the 700 degree capabilities, then this is a good buy for you. You don’t get the smokiness of a wood fired oven, but you do get the heat. If you are just making regular American pizza and only once in a while, I would just use a regular oven with a stone or steel in it. Much easier to clean and works just as well.

Makes great pizza, but it’s huge!
I’m not sure what I expected or of a counter top pizza oven, but it was definitely not something this large. I’m happy with the pizza, but it will have to live in a storage closet or garage because there’s no way I can fit it in my tiny kitchen all the time.

Pizza ovens have become a major trend in both indoor and outdoor kitchens. Cuisinart has designed one meant for crispy crusts. And it does it with typical Cuisinart style.This is a countertop model, and as long as you have room in your kitchen area, this will work for your family.It is also in a higher price range than some others.

Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven, Portable Countertop Pizza Oven that Bakes 12″ Pizzas in Minutes, Stainless Steel, CPZ-120Homemade pizza can be so easy to create, but getting it to cook the way we like it has been impossible. Our kitchen oven just can’t get hot enough. The outdoor grill produced decent results, but it meant going in and out of the house and negotiating steps without dropping anything, and it couldn’t be used in inclement weather. When I came across this Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven, I realized that it was going to change how we make pizza and eliminate the need to go out and buy pizza when grilling isn’t possible. The fact that the oven is manufactured by a company known for its quality products added to my excitement.The pizza oven is ready to use right out of the box. It’s small enough to fit perfectly on our industrial food cart as it is designed to make smaller 12” pizzas. The oven has a crumb tray and came with a square pizza stone, a deep dish pan, and a stainless steel pizza peel with a folding handle for easy storage. The controls are pretty straightforward, you just turn the dial to your desired temperature and the oven immediately starts to preheat. I didn’t time how long that took, but it seemed less than the 30 minutes stated in the description. There is also a timer if you want to use one. With a clear glass window, you can easily see when your pizza is done. There is an audible sound when your oven is finished preheating as well as when the timer runs down. The oven does not turn off automatically when the time runs down. It will only turn off automatically if it is on continuously for two hours. You need to manually turn it off, using the temperature selection dial. Do not unplug your oven when you are finished using it. The oven needs to remain plugged in after you turn it off, in order for the fans to cool it down. The instruction booklet is easy to follow and includes many recipes for different styles of pizza, pizza dough, sauce, pesto and a few other items that you can make in the oven.We were quite pleased with our first pizza that we made in the oven. With a temperature range of 350F-700F, our pizza cooked in just 6 minutes. It seemed to take only a bit longer for us to eat it! There are only a few minor issues that I have with this item. The fans are a bit on the noisy side, although not much louder than the quick bake fan in our regular oven. It seemed to take a long time for the oven to cool down after turning it off and the fans run while it cools. I discovered that it helped to remove the hot stone from the oven to get it to cool faster. I found that the dough was sticking to the stainless steel peel more that it does with my wooden peel. The instructions recommend using flour on the peel to keep the dough from sticking, but that did not help. With my wooden peel, I use coarse cornmeal to keep the dough from sticking, and that might work better than flour. Neither of those issues are deal breakers. The one thing that I really dislike is that there is no way to cancel the timer if you set the wrong time or want to adjust it. I accidentally set it for 60 minutes instead of 6. The only way to adjust your time is to add or subtract one minute at a time. Even when holding the button down to make it run more quickly doesn’t help if you have to go from 60 minutes to 6 minutes one second at a time! I did check with the company and they confirmed that there is no cancellation option. I’m just going to use a different timer the next time I make pizza, because I have every intention of using this oven at least once a week and maybe even more.I definitely recommend this pizza oven. It might seem expensive, but if you add up the cost of purchasing pizza from a restaurant as opposed to making your own, you can see how this product will eventually pay for itself.

Super simple, Fast and Delicious Pizza in your Future!
No one really needs a pizza oven if you already have a regular oven, BUT they sure are nice to have if you have room and eat a lot of pizza (or anything that needs a good crisp)!This Cuisinart is really fantastic! I like how it looks. It has good accessories with the Pizza Stone and the Deep Dish Pizza pan you can do just about anything. Read the directions first to get the best results. I made the mistake of not doing that and my first pizza was still better than the oven, but once I got it down, all my crusts became delightfully crisp and the top cheese was just like the pizza shop.It’s EASY to use. There is even a little guide on the glass that has all the different pizzas, temperatures and times. Turn it on to the temp, let it heat up, add your food on the right pan, and then set the timer. I think the price on this is also great!

Okay, if you don’t LOVE pizza, this is probably not worth it for you. Seriously. It is a very pricey pizza oven. It will bake other things, but they have to be pretty flat because there isn’t a lot of headspace. It is just that, having worked in a number of pizza places, a really hot oven makes the best pizza and most ovens do not get hot enough. This goes up to 700. It takes a little less than 30 minutes to heat up and heat the stone up, but then your pizza only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to bake. The pizzas are limited to maybe 12 or so inches, but it is perfect for one or maybe 2 people. A pan pizza might take a little longer. The temperatures range from around 350 to 700, and probably could be used for more than pizza, but as I said, the height is limited for putting something in and not having the burners too close.There are recipes in the booklet for different styles of pizza. I actually made mine on naan. It was there and easy. A little bit of oil, some sliced veggies and mozzarella and I had a perfect pizza for me. Really looking forward to making focaccia in it next. Normally, though, I do make dough in my bread machine. Very easy pizza.

I was so excited to order this pizza oven! We’ve wanted one for a long time because we love pizza but also it’s a great to have when entertaining. Everyone build their own pizza and best of all it cooks in just a few minutes.For our first use, we ordered pre-made pizza dough from our local store. It was also miniature size dough – about 6 inches. We followed the easy-to-use instructions of preheating the included pizza stone in the oven at 700 degrees for 30 minutes to preheat the stone. Then we put flour on the peel (that comes with the set) and added pizza toppings. We slipped it into the oven from the peel and guidelines for a thin pizza is 5 minutes. Our dough was thin and small – so it was done closer to 4-4 1/2 minutes. That was so fast – and it was delicious!Having an oven that can heat to 700 degrees and cook a pizza in just a few minutes is great for entertaining! We are very happy with this pizza oven and already inviting friends over to try it!It’s really great that everything is included to make the pizza – the oven, the pizza stone, the peel and a deep-dish pizza pan. And there are a ton of recipes included in the included booklet. And those recipes include flour, gluten free and cauliflower dough and instructions on how to cook each. Lots of delicious pizza to try in our future!

We have tried almost every method to get great pizza at home. Super hot conventional oven. Grilling with a pizza stone. But it was always just a bit off. So we caved and picked up this model because it boasted the most important thing to baking a great pizza, consistent high heat.The first night we made it a family affair, letting the kids top their own 12″ pizza and telling them they could watch through the window. Like an idiot, I even made the potential mistake of telling them, “Hey, this should be done in just about 5 minutes.WELP, it lived up to the hype. The consistency of the dough was perfect NY Style, right down to the flakey little air pockets. The toppings were the right level of crispy and the cheese had the right amount of brown dots that let you know that this pizza was made the right way.AND IT WAS ACTUALLY DONE IN 5:00! DAD WIN!If you’re really going to get into making pizza at home, short of building a wood-fired pizza oven in the backyard, this is absolutely the way to go!

Awesome countertop pizza oven that can do and that comes with everything needed
I’d always wanted a countertop pizza oven. This one is great. It looks like it’s going to be bigger based on the box size, but this isn’t really a bad thing as it takes up less space on the counter and you can still bake 12″ pizzas in it. Works with frozen pizzas, but even better with homemade ones. Sure, you aren’t going to get the same results as with a superhot wood fired or gas oven, but you can still get this thing as high as 700F and you’re still going to get really good results all things considered. Cuisinart’s a brand I know and trust to be good in terms of build quality, and this is no exception. Good durable and easy to clean stainless steel. Even comes with a Detroit-style pan for that crispy deep dish goodness! Love that the pizza peel it comes with is a thinner one so it’s easier to get underneath pizzas and reduce risk of tearing a crust. The stone fits inside perfectly so no space is wasted. Includes recipes and guides as well. Everything you need but the ingredients to start making fresh, from scratch pizzas! Very much recommended!

I was delighted when seeing this pizza oven. It is something I have been wanting for a while. I have used it weekly since getting it. It is easy to use and comes with the pizza stone, pizza peel, and even a deep dish pan. Read the directions, it takes about 30 min to heat up the oven and stone. It fits on the counter top but is kinda large to keep out all of the time. It goes all the way up to 700 degrees. All components come out making it easy to clean. I got some pre-made dough from a local store and the pizzas I have made are absolutely fantastic. Definitely use flour or corn meal on the pizza peel to slide the dough off well. The directions are great, they really through of everything. If you love pizza this is absolutely worth it.

Fantastic countertop pizza oven makes delicious homemade pizza
This indoor pizza oven is great. It came with a complete kit for making pizza which included a pizza stone, deep dish pan, and pizza peel. I use this pizza oven to make tasteful homemade pizzas. It is quick, and I can cook various styles like Neapolitan, deep dish, and New York style with custom toppings. The temperature range helps make a crispy crust and melt cheese just right. The large viewing window and inside light make it easy to watch the cooking, and the easy controls and timer make it simple to use. It took me a few tries to get the pizza to cook perfectly. With this indoor pizza oven my family can enjoy homemade pizza anytime. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

This is great, and my very first thin-crust pizza bake was excellent!This kinda describes my “thin-crispy” recipe, in case some of this is why it worked so well. I preheated the oven about 30-minutes to 600-degrees, rolled out a ball of made-yesterday room-temperature dough into a thin 11-inch pizza (to leave space from the oven walls), and pre-baked the bare dough about 2-minutes. Then I added toppings, and baked that watchfully for about 5 min more, turning the pizza about halfway through. When the cheese looked lightly browned, i pulled it out, and it was perfectly crispy!The oven will turn itself off after about 2-hours. I let everything cool about 20-minutes with the fan running before cleaning. That’s it! Easy to set up, easy to use, safe, and as easy to clean as any oven.It’s nice that a pizza peel is included. And the manual has many great recipes for all kinds of pizza crusts, calzones and flatbreads, and many sauces and topping combinations. It’s really a good pizza cookbook!I suggest using a wall-socket with a high-amp fuse. If i changed anything, I would make the electric cord a little longer. I would give a little more room between the inside walls and a full-size 12-inch crust. Such minor suggestions, though, for a well-deserved rave review!

This pizza oven is super easy to use. It fits perfectly on my countertop. The pizza oven is an upgrade over baking a pizza in a normal oven.I’ve made pizza 5 times since receiving the oven and every time it leaves the pizza so tasty and crisp. This would be perfect for a family night.

OMG! Homemade pizza!!
This unit will produce a 12 inch pizza. Temperature from 350 degrees and 700 degrees. Comes with a removable shelf, a pizza stone and a pan for deep dish pizza. Will cook a 12 inch NY style pizza in 5 minutes. The unit itself has a fan technology to keep the outside of the unit from getting to hot. Be aware that in order to produce the best possible pie you need to ensure the unit is preheated and can take up to 30 minutes to accomplish that. It does have a built in light and signal to show when it is properly preheated. The unit has a timer once set will signal when the pizza is done. When finished cooking and the temperature is shut off the unit fan will continue to run until it is cooled down sufficiently.

This beautiful little pizza oven by Cuisinart will compliment any kitchen. This counter top pizza oven is full stainless steel with digital controls and knob. Temp range is 350-700, and depending on your pizza style you can have something baked in fast as 5 minutes. Auto shutoff feature, includes peel, deep pan, and stone. Easy to use and clean. Exceeded my expectations.

Favorite new kitchen gadget
We’ve been looking for a pizza oven for a while and wanted one we could use indoors. Looking at the more expensive options vs the cuisinart, I thought the reviews for this fit our needs as a good starting option since we’re not running a pizzeria… it’s amazing! We’ve only had it about a week but have made pizza 3 times. My husband makes pizza frequently so we have a great dough recipe and he makes his own sauce… so that helps. But having the high heat is a game changer. Agree with others – flour the peel like crazy. You will not be disappointed. Maybe now we will open a pizzeria.

Here is my take after making 3 Pizzas and two days with this machine:1- Oven hits it’s highest temperature ’ in less than 22 minutes (others has stated 30, for me it’s about 18 minutes)2- Oven heats almost even, with area next to the window being slightly cooler.3- It bakes a Neapolitan Pizza under 4 minutes.4- The fan is noisy but not too noisy.5- The top gets hot, but not too hot to cause any danger.6- The lamp inside works well, you can see the pie easily.7- It is not too heavy or bulky.8-The stone and crumb tray are easy to remove and clean. Anything splattered inside, you are SOL.My only negative is questionable temperature. It is high enough for almost any kind of Pizza (just little longer time) But if you are looking for something identical to a wood burner, this is not it.The indoor competition is Oooni 12v and the Breville.Both are hands down better than this at over $1,000 each (after tax).They reach higher temperature 850 & 750. And have more bells and whistles.If you are planning to make Neapolitan Pizza more than once a week consistently and are well versed in the art of Neapolitan Pizza making and for some strange reason you want to have an electric indoor pizza oven (instead of an outdoor wood burner), then you should buy one of those.If you are like me, and you just want to experiment, learn and have fun at a very reasonable price, this is for you.Don’t waste your money on something that may end up in your pantry 6 months from now.

Great oven
We just bought this oven and have been testing it out. There is a slight learning curve as with everything.The oven gets hot and cooks pizza awesome. We have not yet tried anything but pizza yet.Honestly the neapolitan rocks.Pros- gets nice and hot, cooking time short, thought it cooks fairly even without spinning pizza. All controls worked fine. Nice bright light inside.Cons- the pizza peel is terrible and takes a decent amount of flour to get it to a point it will slide off, which is a must. Tried corneal and that’s a little more messy. Cleaning out kind of a pain, should come with a brush and scraper. Takes awhile to heat up and can be loud but not terrible and that honestly didn’t really bother meTips- we have not mastered thin crust. But neapolitan we are close. I discovered that i don’t love crust made with any oil, it’s better with just flour,salt, water and yeast. Our crust was good but we are perfecting and will get even better, just need a few more test runs. We like putting fresh mozzarella on after it bakes to avoid water. Some toppings should be somewhat pre cooked due to short cook time and water content reduction.All and all, we would recommend it even though a little more expensive. You get what you pay for and this oven did not disappoint over all. Gave only 4 rating for pizza peel and cleaning with no cleaning tips or brushes provided.

Great indoor pizza oven
For months I was checking out many different types of pizza ovens: wood, propane, indoor. But there was always something that held me in check. Until this oven was released. After reading the specs and early reviews, this appeared to be the one I’d been wanting, and so I got it. And so far, so good! There were a couple of learning moments about how to prep a pizza and get it off the peel to the oven, but other than that, the pizzas I’ve made have been near perfect. I’ve been very satisfied with how quick it cooks the Neapolitan style pizzas. Yes, the oven takes up a decent amount of kitchen space. But if you love pizzas, it’s worth it, as this will be used a lot. This is the pizza oven I’ve been waiting for!

If you want a indoor pizza oven can’t get better than this. Can’t stop making pizza now that this cooks it perfectly.Wanted one for a while and looked at the reviews and just pulled the trigger.Well worth it.The most difficult part is learning to get the dough to slide off the pizza peel.

It’s just okay. It could be better
I purchased this pizza oven after using a baking steel to cook pizzas in my home oven for years. It’s a very nice looking oven with nice features and accessories. It reaches the temperatures advertised. However, my issue with it is the baking stone. It’s a nice baking stone, but it does not seem to get hot enough to deliver the crisp brown spotted crust I’m used to getting from the baking steel. I plan to experiment more with this oven, but I am not entirely certain it’s worth the price given that I’ve had better quality pizza from my home oven and baking steel . It may be better to save your money and buy an Ooni or Breville indoor pizza oven that may deliver better results. I guess I can only hope that they offer a baking steel accessory to make this a worthwhile purchase.

Good oven, but a little pricey
I eat a fair amount of pizzas, mostly frozen. On the plus side, it’s easy to see your pizza cooking, the oven doesn’t get too hot on the outside and it has a good variety of temperatures from 350 to 730°. My opinion on homemade pizzas is not complete. I’m leaning to the plus side. 0n the negative side, it takes longer to cook my frozen pizzas than my air-bake oven, the pizza stone seems to be difficult to clean off and the timer doesn’t shut the oven off.

I was so excited to order this pizza oven! We’ve wanted one for a long time because we love pizza but also it’s a great to have when entertaining. Everyone build their own pizza and best of all it cooks in just a few minutes.For our first use, we ordered pre-made pizza dough from our local store. It was also miniature size dough – about 6 inches. We followed the easy-to-use instructions of preheating the included pizza stone in the oven at 700 degrees for 30 minutes to preheat the stone. Then we put flour on the peel (that comes with the set) and added pizza toppings. We slipped it into the oven from the peel and guidelines for a thin pizza is 5 minutes. Our dough was thin and small – so it was done closer to 4-4 1/2 minutes. That was so fast – and it was delicious!Having an oven that can heat to 700 degrees and cook a pizza in just a few minutes is great for entertaining! We are very happy with this pizza oven and already inviting friends over to try it!It’s really great that everything is included to make the pizza – the oven, the pizza stone, the peel and a deep-dish pizza pan. And there are a ton of recipes included in the included booklet. And those recipes include flour, gluten free and cauliflower dough and instructions on how to cook each. Lots of delicious pizza to try in our future!

We have tried almost every method to get great pizza at home. Super hot conventional oven. Grilling with a pizza stone. But it was always just a bit off. So we caved and picked up this model because it boasted the most important thing to baking a great pizza, consistent high heat.The first night we made it a family affair, letting the kids top their own 12″ pizza and telling them they could watch through the window. Like an idiot, I even made the potential mistake of telling them, “Hey, this should be done in just about 5 minutes.WELP, it lived up to the hype. The consistency of the dough was perfect NY Style, right down to the flakey little air pockets. The toppings were the right level of crispy and the cheese had the right amount of brown dots that let you know that this pizza was made the right way.AND IT WAS ACTUALLY DONE IN 5:00! DAD WIN!If you’re really going to get into making pizza at home, short of building a wood-fired pizza oven in the backyard, this is absolutely the way to go!

Awesome countertop pizza oven that can do and that comes with everything needed
I’d always wanted a countertop pizza oven. This one is great. It looks like it’s going to be bigger based on the box size, but this isn’t really a bad thing as it takes up less space on the counter and you can still bake 12″ pizzas in it. Works with frozen pizzas, but even better with homemade ones. Sure, you aren’t going to get the same results as with a superhot wood fired or gas oven, but you can still get this thing as high as 700F and you’re still going to get really good results all things considered. Cuisinart’s a brand I know and trust to be good in terms of build quality, and this is no exception. Good durable and easy to clean stainless steel. Even comes with a Detroit-style pan for that crispy deep dish goodness! Love that the pizza peel it comes with is a thinner one so it’s easier to get underneath pizzas and reduce risk of tearing a crust. The stone fits inside perfectly so no space is wasted. Includes recipes and guides as well. Everything you need but the ingredients to start making fresh, from scratch pizzas! Very much recommended!

I was delighted when seeing this pizza oven. It is something I have been wanting for a while. I have used it weekly since getting it. It is easy to use and comes with the pizza stone, pizza peel, and even a deep dish pan. Read the directions, it takes about 30 min to heat up the oven and stone. It fits on the counter top but is kinda large to keep out all of the time. It goes all the way up to 700 degrees. All components come out making it easy to clean. I got some pre-made dough from a local store and the pizzas I have made are absolutely fantastic. Definitely use flour or corn meal on the pizza peel to slide the dough off well. The directions are great, they really through of everything. If you love pizza this is absolutely worth it.

Fantastic countertop pizza oven makes delicious homemade pizza
This indoor pizza oven is great. It came with a complete kit for making pizza which included a pizza stone, deep dish pan, and pizza peel. I use this pizza oven to make tasteful homemade pizzas. It is quick, and I can cook various styles like Neapolitan, deep dish, and New York style with custom toppings. The temperature range helps make a crispy crust and melt cheese just right. The large viewing window and inside light make it easy to watch the cooking, and the easy controls and timer make it simple to use. It took me a few tries to get the pizza to cook perfectly. With this indoor pizza oven my family can enjoy homemade pizza anytime. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

This is great, and my very first thin-crust pizza bake was excellent!This kinda describes my “thin-crispy” recipe, in case some of this is why it worked so well. I preheated the oven about 30-minutes to 600-degrees, rolled out a ball of made-yesterday room-temperature dough into a thin 11-inch pizza (to leave space from the oven walls), and pre-baked the bare dough about 2-minutes. Then I added toppings, and baked that watchfully for about 5 min more, turning the pizza about halfway through. When the cheese looked lightly browned, i pulled it out, and it was perfectly crispy!The oven will turn itself off after about 2-hours. I let everything cool about 20-minutes with the fan running before cleaning. That’s it! Easy to set up, easy to use, safe, and as easy to clean as any oven.It’s nice that a pizza peel is included. And the manual has many great recipes for all kinds of pizza crusts, calzones and flatbreads, and many sauces and topping combinations. It’s really a good pizza cookbook!I suggest using a wall-socket with a high-amp fuse. If i changed anything, I would make the electric cord a little longer. I would give a little more room between the inside walls and a full-size 12-inch crust. Such minor suggestions, though, for a well-deserved rave review!

This pizza oven is super easy to use. It fits perfectly on my countertop. The pizza oven is an upgrade over baking a pizza in a normal oven.I’ve made pizza 5 times since receiving the oven and every time it leaves the pizza so tasty and crisp. This would be perfect for a family night.

OMG! Homemade pizza!!
This unit will produce a 12 inch pizza. Temperature from 350 degrees and 700 degrees. Comes with a removable shelf, a pizza stone and a pan for deep dish pizza. Will cook a 12 inch NY style pizza in 5 minutes. The unit itself has a fan technology to keep the outside of the unit from getting to hot. Be aware that in order to produce the best possible pie you need to ensure the unit is preheated and can take up to 30 minutes to accomplish that. It does have a built in light and signal to show when it is properly preheated. The unit has a timer once set will signal when the pizza is done. When finished cooking and the temperature is shut off the unit fan will continue to run until it is cooled down sufficiently.

This beautiful little pizza oven by Cuisinart will compliment any kitchen. This counter top pizza oven is full stainless steel with digital controls and knob. Temp range is 350-700, and depending on your pizza style you can have something baked in fast as 5 minutes. Auto shutoff feature, includes peel, deep pan, and stone. Easy to use and clean. Exceeded my expectations.

We’ve been looking for a pizza oven for a while and wanted one we could use indoors. Looking at the more expensive options vs the cuisinart, I thought the reviews for this fit our needs as a good starting option since we’re not running a pizzeria… it’s amazing! We’ve only had it about a week but have made pizza 3 times. My husband makes pizza frequently so we have a great dough recipe and he makes his own sauce… so that helps. But having the high heat is a game changer. Agree with others – flour the peel like crazy. You will not be disappointed. Maybe now we will open a pizzeria.

Here is my take after making 3 Pizzas and two days with this machine:1- Oven hits it’s highest temperature ’ in less than 22 minutes (others has stated 30, for me it’s about 18 minutes)2- Oven heats almost even, with area next to the window being slightly cooler.3- It bakes a Neapolitan Pizza under 4 minutes.4- The fan is noisy but not too noisy.5- The top gets hot, but not too hot to cause any danger.6- The lamp inside works well, you can see the pie easily.7- It is not too heavy or bulky.8-The stone and crumb tray are easy to remove and clean. Anything splattered inside, you are SOL.My only negative is questionable temperature. It is high enough for almost any kind of Pizza (just little longer time) But if you are looking for something identical to a wood burner, this is not it.The indoor competition is Oooni 12v and the Breville.Both are hands down better than this at over $1,000 each (after tax).They reach higher temperature 850 & 750. And have more bells and whistles.If you are planning to make Neapolitan Pizza more than once a week consistently and are well versed in the art of Neapolitan Pizza making and for some strange reason you want to have an electric indoor pizza oven (instead of an outdoor wood burner), then you should buy one of those.If you are like me, and you just want to experiment, learn and have fun at a very reasonable price, this is for you.Don’t waste your money on something that may end up in your pantry 6 months from now.

We just bought this oven and have been testing it out. There is a slight learning curve as with everything.The oven gets hot and cooks pizza awesome. We have not yet tried anything but pizza yet.Honestly the neapolitan rocks.Pros- gets nice and hot, cooking time short, thought it cooks fairly even without spinning pizza. All controls worked fine. Nice bright light inside.Cons- the pizza peel is terrible and takes a decent amount of flour to get it to a point it will slide off, which is a must. Tried corneal and that’s a little more messy. Cleaning out kind of a pain, should come with a brush and scraper. Takes awhile to heat up and can be loud but not terrible and that honestly didn’t really bother meTips- we have not mastered thin crust. But neapolitan we are close. I discovered that i don’t love crust made with any oil, it’s better with just flour,salt, water and yeast. Our crust was good but we are perfecting and will get even better, just need a few more test runs. We like putting fresh mozzarella on after it bakes to avoid water. Some toppings should be somewhat pre cooked due to short cook time and water content reduction.All and all, we would recommend it even though a little more expensive. You get what you pay for and this oven did not disappoint over all. Gave only 4 rating for pizza peel and cleaning with no cleaning tips or brushes provided.

Great indoor pizza oven
For months I was checking out many different types of pizza ovens: wood, propane, indoor. But there was always something that held me in check. Until this oven was released. After reading the specs and early reviews, this appeared to be the one I’d been wanting, and so I got it. And so far, so good! There were a couple of learning moments about how to prep a pizza and get it off the peel to the oven, but other than that, the pizzas I’ve made have been near perfect. I’ve been very satisfied with how quick it cooks the Neapolitan style pizzas. Yes, the oven takes up a decent amount of kitchen space. But if you love pizzas, it’s worth it, as this will be used a lot. This is the pizza oven I’ve been waiting for!

If you want a indoor pizza oven can’t get better than this. Can’t stop making pizza now that this cooks it perfectly.Wanted one for a while and looked at the reviews and just pulled the trigger.Well worth it.The most difficult part is learning to get the dough to slide off the pizza peel.

It’s just okay. It could be better
I purchased this pizza oven after using a baking steel to cook pizzas in my home oven for years. It’s a very nice looking oven with nice features and accessories. It reaches the temperatures advertised. However, my issue with it is the baking stone. It’s a nice baking stone, but it does not seem to get hot enough to deliver the crisp brown spotted crust I’m used to getting from the baking steel. I plan to experiment more with this oven, but I am not entirely certain it’s worth the price given that I’ve had better quality pizza from my home oven and baking steel . It may be better to save your money and buy an Ooni or Breville indoor pizza oven that may deliver better results. I guess I can only hope that they offer a baking steel accessory to make this a worthwhile purchase.

This is a very nice indoor pizza oven in this price range. It gets up to temperature quickly and cooks a 12 inch pizza in about 5 minutes. I find I do need to rotate the pizza in order to get an evenly cooked pizza. This oven cooks cooler on the window/door side than in the back and the pizza might burn on the back side if you don’t rotate. The unit is rather noisy which is somewhat expected due to the fans. Cleaning is a little bit of a challenge but not too bad. Overall this is a very nice oven and I would recommend it.

I’ve made some pizzas in a regular oven on a pizza steel before, and I’ve never been great at it. I decided to attempt making a Detroit-style pizza in my new pizza oven, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with how it turned out! It came out fluffy and soft with the crispy edges, just as you want from that style of pizza. The pizza oven comes with excellent instructions on how to use it, how to clean it, how to make sauce and dough, as well as many recipes for various kinds of pizzas, the classic Detroit-style included. It comes with everything you need, including the pizza stone, pizza peel, and deep dish container pictured in my photos. It is relatively annoying to clean (due to the heating elements) if you make a mess, but thankfully heating an oven to 700 degrees burns things enough that most stuff wouldn’t stick too much even if you did drop some cheese. I was a little confused that it took the little oven so long to heat up to 550°F, especially with how loud the fans are to circulate the air inside. I was also surprised that it took as long as it did after I turned it off for the fans to stop running to cool it down. Neither of those things are deal breakers for me, though, and overall I still very much enjoy the pizza oven. It is a bit pricey ($400 at time of writing this), but if you’re someone who makes homemade pizzas often and prefer to do your cooking inside, this is a fine investment.

Price during review – $ 399.95.I have made pizza before but only in my regular oven and never with a stone-based oven. The stone concept was new to me, and essentially works by heating the stone to a temperature where the base cooks uniformly, quickly and completely. Case in point, a Neapolitan style base takes 5 minutes, while a deep dish style takes 15. That’s great timing compared to the regular oven.It took me a few tries to get the cooked pizza off the pan after cooking, since it really sticks to the bottom. They recommended greasing/flouring the pan – but then, the base creates issues staying in shape once the greasing is done – that’s something I’m still working to perfect. I have no experience of other similar stone-based ovens to compare this to, but it did seem like it takes a longer while to heat up, considering it’s not too big. Once it gets going, it takes a long while to cool down, even between pizzas – and there are different temps for various base types – so sometimes it’s a wait time (especially since I did the high temp ones first and had to wait for it to cool down.)In pics, is my 6 inch round pan, and 8 inch wide pan. The uncooked pizza pan is the one they provide with the set. The oven itself sits full and flush on a 24″ deep, 22″ wide counter. This should give you an idea of the size.The only deal-breaker con is – This is a large piece and since it’s indoor, it takes up sizeable counter space… prime real estate no matter how big your kitchen is. In that sense, it’s a store and use when necessary piece – but you also need the space to store it. If you have a small kitchen and no storage space then this might be a big issue – as it is for me. As such, it lives in my basement and I lug it up to the kitchen, since it heats up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit and I don’t trust to set it on any other surface.FAQs (all my own Qs though)Is it lots of work?Not really, if you have the dough (and the $400 dough too,lol) and sauce.Does it change the way you do Pizza night? Yes, you bet – customizations galore!How many is the biggest pizza it makes? Roughly 8 square slices big.What is my final say?Recommended.

The output is good…the rest is a mixed bag for me
The most important part of a pizza oven is obviously the pizza. I made some Neapolitan style pizza’s to start as I wanted to test the stone and the high temp. I set it to 700 degrees, warmed it up with the stone inside, and about 5 minutes later I had a Neapolitan style pizza with a nice crispy crust and good spotting on the bottom. The top was ever so slightly charred and bubbling…all good!So, the stone seems to work well in terms of retaining heat and the accessories serve their purpose well. No issues.Things I don’t love.(1) For such a small oven, it takes quite a long time to heat up.(2) It has a fan that’s loud and starts immediately when turning the oven on and stays on a long time after the oven is off to dissipate heat.(3) The peel is just flat stainless without any bumps or perforations to help get the loaded raw pizza off smoothly. You need to load it up with semolina to get the crust to slide off, otherwise it just sticks.(4) It’s not easy to clean. The top and bottom have elements and you have to clean around them, they don’t come out. I vacuumed out the crumbs with a long wand and that helped. If you get any cheese down there, it’s a pain.If you are committed to making pizzas or calzones a lot and benefit from the 700 degree capabilities, then this is a good buy for you. You don’t get the smokiness of a wood fired oven, but you do get the heat. If you are just making regular American pizza and only once in a while, I would just use a regular oven with a stone or steel in it. Much easier to clean and works just as well.

Makes great pizza, but it’s huge!
I’m not sure what I expected or of a counter top pizza oven, but it was definitely not something this large. I’m happy with the pizza, but it will have to live in a storage closet or garage because there’s no way I can fit it in my tiny kitchen all the time.

Pizza ovens have become a major trend in both indoor and outdoor kitchens. Cuisinart has designed one meant for crispy crusts. And it does it with typical Cuisinart style.This is a countertop model, and as long as you have room in your kitchen area, this will work for your family.It is also in a higher price range than some others.

Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven, Portable Countertop Pizza Oven that Bakes 12″ Pizzas in Minutes, Stainless Steel, CPZ-120Homemade pizza can be so easy to create, but getting it to cook the way we like it has been impossible. Our kitchen oven just can’t get hot enough. The outdoor grill produced decent results, but it meant going in and out of the house and negotiating steps without dropping anything, and it couldn’t be used in inclement weather. When I came across this Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven, I realized that it was going to change how we make pizza and eliminate the need to go out and buy pizza when grilling isn’t possible. The fact that the oven is manufactured by a company known for its quality products added to my excitement.The pizza oven is ready to use right out of the box. It’s small enough to fit perfectly on our industrial food cart as it is designed to make smaller 12” pizzas. The oven has a crumb tray and came with a square pizza stone, a deep dish pan, and a stainless steel pizza peel with a folding handle for easy storage. The controls are pretty straightforward, you just turn the dial to your desired temperature and the oven immediately starts to preheat. I didn’t time how long that took, but it seemed less than the 30 minutes stated in the description. There is also a timer if you want to use one. With a clear glass window, you can easily see when your pizza is done. There is an audible sound when your oven is finished preheating as well as when the timer runs down. The oven does not turn off automatically when the time runs down. It will only turn off automatically if it is on continuously for two hours. You need to manually turn it off, using the temperature selection dial. Do not unplug your oven when you are finished using it. The oven needs to remain plugged in after you turn it off, in order for the fans to cool it down. The instruction booklet is easy to follow and includes many recipes for different styles of pizza, pizza dough, sauce, pesto and a few other items that you can make in the oven.We were quite pleased with our first pizza that we made in the oven. With a temperature range of 350F-700F, our pizza cooked in just 6 minutes. It seemed to take only a bit longer for us to eat it! There are only a few minor issues that I have with this item. The fans are a bit on the noisy side, although not much louder than the quick bake fan in our regular oven. It seemed to take a long time for the oven to cool down after turning it off and the fans run while it cools. I discovered that it helped to remove the hot stone from the oven to get it to cool faster. I found that the dough was sticking to the stainless steel peel more that it does with my wooden peel. The instructions recommend using flour on the peel to keep the dough from sticking, but that did not help. With my wooden peel, I use coarse cornmeal to keep the dough from sticking, and that might work better than flour. Neither of those issues are deal breakers. The one thing that I really dislike is that there is no way to cancel the timer if you set the wrong time or want to adjust it. I accidentally set it for 60 minutes instead of 6. The only way to adjust your time is to add or subtract one minute at a time. Even when holding the button down to make it run more quickly doesn’t help if you have to go from 60 minutes to 6 minutes one second at a time! I did check with the company and they confirmed that there is no cancellation option. I’m just going to use a different timer the next time I make pizza, because I have every intention of using this oven at least once a week and maybe even more.I definitely recommend this pizza oven. It might seem expensive, but if you add up the cost of purchasing pizza from a restaurant as opposed to making your own, you can see how this product will eventually pay for itself.

Super simple, Fast and Delicious Pizza in your Future!
No one really needs a pizza oven if you already have a regular oven, BUT they sure are nice to have if you have room and eat a lot of pizza (or anything that needs a good crisp)!This Cuisinart is really fantastic! I like how it looks. It has good accessories with the Pizza Stone and the Deep Dish Pizza pan you can do just about anything. Read the directions first to get the best results. I made the mistake of not doing that and my first pizza was still better than the oven, but once I got it down, all my crusts became delightfully crisp and the top cheese was just like the pizza shop.It’s EASY to use. There is even a little guide on the glass that has all the different pizzas, temperatures and times. Turn it on to the temp, let it heat up, add your food on the right pan, and then set the timer. I think the price on this is also great!

Okay, if you don’t LOVE pizza, this is probably not worth it for you. Seriously. It is a very pricey pizza oven. It will bake other things, but they have to be pretty flat because there isn’t a lot of headspace. It is just that, having worked in a number of pizza places, a really hot oven makes the best pizza and most ovens do not get hot enough. This goes up to 700. It takes a little less than 30 minutes to heat up and heat the stone up, but then your pizza only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to bake. The pizzas are limited to maybe 12 or so inches, but it is perfect for one or maybe 2 people. A pan pizza might take a little longer. The temperatures range from around 350 to 700, and probably could be used for more than pizza, but as I said, the height is limited for putting something in and not having the burners too close.There are recipes in the booklet for different styles of pizza. I actually made mine on naan. It was there and easy. A little bit of oil, some sliced veggies and mozzarella and I had a perfect pizza for me. Really looking forward to making focaccia in it next. Normally, though, I do make dough in my bread machine. Very easy pizza.
